The Danish concept of hygge has become a buzzword in recent years, but it's more than just a trend - it's a way of living and celebrating. It's about embracing the everyday moments and turning them into something extraordinary, filled with comfort, warmth, and a deep sense of connection. While there's no direct translation in English, hygge captures the essence of what we would call "cozy" - but it's so much more than that.

My own journey with hygge began during my time living in Denmark, where I fully embraced this lifestyle. It's shaped not only my personal life but also my design approach, the way I connect with couples, and my entire philosophy of wedding planning. At Behind the Veil Weddings, we focus on those details, ensuring they are intentional, meaningful, and true to your unique vision. After all, your wedding day is just as much about how it feels as it is about how it looks.
